CoverLetterRefiner

Your draft, marked up against the job ad.

Paste the posting, your resume and the draft you are not happy with. CoverLetterRefiner rewrites the letter three ways and shows you every edit it made — the phrase it removed, the phrase it put there instead, and which line of the job ad the change is answering.

It works from your resume only. It will not invent an employer, a metric or a skill you did not give it.

0 / 9,000

Paste the posting itself — responsibilities, requirements and the “about us” blurb. The blurb is where the culture signals live.

0 / 12,000

Plain text is fine. This is the only evidence the rewrite is allowed to draw on, so include the roles and numbers you would actually cite.

0 / 9,000

Your current draft, however rough. Every edit is shown against this text.

Your text is sent to Anthropic's API to produce the rewrite and is not stored on our server. The result is saved in this browser only.

Three versions, not one generic pass

The same evidence, argued three ways. Send the one that matches the voice of the company you are writing to.

Formal
Measured and precise. For established firms, regulated industries, and hiring managers who read a lot of letters.
Conversational
Direct and human, still professional. For startups and teams whose job ad sounds like a person wrote it.
Data-driven
Leads with numbers and outcomes pulled from your resume. For roles that ask for measurable impact.

Every edit comes with its reason

The results page reads like a page someone has been over with a pen. Removed wording is struck through in red, the replacement sits next to it in blue, and a note in the margin says why the swap happened.

matched: “own the roadmap”

I have done some reporting work rebuilt the queue reporting three regions run on, and I would take the same ownership of the support tooling roadmap here.

What this version does not do

  • No file upload. Paste plain text — PDF and DOCX parsing is not built yet.
  • No resume rewriting and no ATS score. It edits the letter, nothing else.
  • No accounts. Results are saved in this browser, so they are gone if you clear site data or switch device.
  • No fetching the job ad from a URL. Copy and paste the text.

What it costs

The first part of each variant is free to read. Unlocking the full text of one refinement is $3.99; an unlimited plan at $14.99 a month is planned but not available yet.
